The damper blades forms a measuring flange which allows flow measuring. DRBVU is a damper, which facilitates continuously balancing of ventilation systems and can be controlled by a superior control system. The damper can be ordered with the following control option: 24 V motor with 2-10 V analog control signal (motortype -SR). The motor shall be completed with control signal transmitter e.g. an external potentiometer or a proportionally regulating thermostat. The motor has overload protection and stops automatically when the blade has reached its end stop. The stop can be continually adjusted. Although the current is connected, the motor is not damaged if blocked. The spindle and motor can be disconnected from each other via a release button on the motor housing. In outdoor installation, the motor should be protected from direct UV radiation. The motor is installed at a distance from the damper, which makes it easy to insulate the ventilation duct. The DTBCU is a spring return damper which closes if the electrical power is off. The damper can be ordered with the following control option. 24 or 230 V on off motor 24 V motor with 2-10 V analog control signal (motortype -SR) 24 V motor with data bus control; Modbus, BACnet, MP-Bus (motortype - MOBA) The motor has overload protection and stops automatically when the blade has reached its end stop. Although the current is connected, the motor is not damaged if blocked. When the power is cut, the damper closes when the drive motor freewheels and the return spring pulls the blade back to its original position. If you want the damper to open instead of close, you can undo the two nuts on the spindle clamp, turn the spindle 90°and tighten the nuts again. In outdoor installation, the motor should be protected from direct UV radiation. The motor is installed at a distance from the damper, which makes it easy to insulate the ventilation duct. There is a separate assembly, measuring balancing and maintenance instruction for this product.

Applications The meter is suitable both for setting up and for continous flow measurement. It is intended for permanent installation and must therefore be specified at the design stage. There is a separate assembly, measuring, balancing and maintenance instruction for this product. Design The meter consists of two reductions joined together, with measurement nozzles. Each nozzle has a removable plastic plug which prevents dirt from entering. It also eliminates air leakage when measurement is not done. The unit permits insulation of up to 100 mm thickness to be installed without concealing the measurement nozzles or label plate. The plate can be rotated for best legibility, irrespective of the way the fitting is installed and can easily be removed, to be located away from the unit. Flow meters with reductions of two dimension steps can be obtained, to give higher reading pressure in the measurement nozzles. This entails higher pressure drop and noise generation, however.

Ventilation hood for air exit above roof, suitable for both industrial and comfort ventilation. The air is ejected in an upwards-directed jet. This avoids contaminating the air in the vicinity of the hood, and soiling of the area around the hood. The ejection is so effective that you can install a fresh air inlet in the immediate vicinity of the hood, without any special precautions. NOTE! When fans are not running there is always a risk for drifting snow and damp to penetrate into ducts. At some occasions also condensation can cause trouble. The hood is made of galvanised sheet steel, and can also be supplied in other materials such as stainless steel sheet 1.4301, stainless acid-resistant steel sheet 1.4404, and painted in various colours, to special order. It has a net over the opening and an internal rain funnel to collect rainwater and snow, which is drained out of the hood through a hose. The hose can withstand temperatures of between -45 and +65 °C. To avoid damage to the net in the opening the hood is supplied with transport protection. Always specify the flanch properties properly if the hood should fit a flange other than the supplied opposing flange.

Ventilation hood for air exit above roof, suitable for both industrial and comfort ventilation. The air is ejected in an upwards-directed jet. This avoids contaminating the air in the vicinity of the hood, and soiling of the area around the hood. The ejection is so effective that you can install a fresh air inlet in the immediate vicinity of the hood, without any special precautions. NOTE! When fans are not running there is always a risk for drifting snow and damp to penetrate into ducts. At some occasions also condensation can cause trouble. The hood is made of galvanised sheet steel, and can also be supplied in other materials such as stainless steel sheet 1.4301, stainless acid-resistant steel sheet 1.4404, and painted in various colours, to special order. It has a net over the opening and an internal rain funnel to collect rainwater and snow, which is drained out of the hood through a hose. The hose can withstand temperatures of between -45 and +65 °C. The hood has a female connection, which fits outside a ventilation duct. As special delivery the hood can be supplied with three anchoring wire-loops. It is standard on Ø400.

JSM is a manually operated jalousie damper for the closing off or regulation of ventilation systems. The damper is built on a frame made from galvanized steel sheet. The damper blades are made from smooth, extruded aluminium profiles with silicon sealing strips on one side, and on the other the side grips to a rubber seal when the damper is closed. The damper blades are in the end sealed with a gasket made from synthetic material. On the outside of the frame, the damper blades are individually fitted with fine-tooth ratchets, which ensure a very low torque. Axle shaft 15 x 15 mm is mounted directly to the external ratchet. The external ratchet is supplied with a face plate. The frame can be made using stainless steel, depending on preference. Temperature range from -20°C to +80°C. JSM is supplied with an RJFP 20 connection system as standard. For alternative connection systems, please see table.

The access door is also used as an inspection hatch for rectangular ducts. To the access door belongs a fixing frame, which is attached to the rectangular duct. Cleaning regulating damper Consists of a KCU cleaning cover with a blade without rubber gasket similar to the DRU and a PSU collar saddle in whose branch the cleaning cover is fixed. The branch is provided with a Safe seal. Since it is easy to remove the cleaning cover together with the blade, it is easy to inspect and clean the ventilation system. The original pressure balance in the system is not affected since the blade and cleaning cover retain their mutual positions which they were given during balancing. The damper can be used to advantage, to complete an existing ventilation system. There is a separate assembly, measuring, balancing and maintenance instruction for this product. The SECTH sensor, is an advanced and versatile 3-in-1 Indoor Air Quality monitor. It measures CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity in the ambient air accurately without need for additional compensation – true read. The measured parameters are conveniently combined into one common indicator – the Senseair Index – describing how your performance is affected by the ambient air. Battery lifetime is up to 2 years. The measured data is shown on a high resolution display and the overall indoor air quality is intuitively indicated by the stylish LED elements as a Senseair Index. The Senseair Index is an air quality scale which takes into account different environmental parameters to give an easy and quick overview of the indoor air quality. The roof transition type SRIP is used in connection with roof hoods type VHL, VHA and VHP, where there is both demands of condensation insulation and sound attenuation effect, plus a wish for a harmonic transition between roof transition and hood. SRIP is constructed around a perforated inner duct, an outer black painted spirally wounded duct with intermediate insulation and equipped with end cap at the bottom. The duct filter fits in all circular ventilation fittings. To install the filter in a T-piece means a simple mounting and replacing. The special tapered shape gives 4 times larger filter area than the equivalent duct cross section area, giving lower pressure drop and longer exchange intervals than the equivalent flat filter. The diagram shows the pressure drop across a clean filter, including T-piece. The filter can be used to twice this pressure drop. It is a good idea to dimension the system for the average value. Cleaning regulating damper Consists of a KCU cleaning cover with a blade without rubber gasket similar to the DRU and a TCPU T-piece in whose branch the cleaning cover is fixed. The branch is provided with a Safe seal. Since it is easy to remove the cleaning cover together with the blade, it is easy to inspect and clean the ventilation system. The original pressure balance in the system is not affected since the blade and cleaning cover retain their mutual positions which they were given during balancing. There is a separate assembly, measuring, balancing and maintenance instruction for this product. Ø 100–400 fullfills pressure class A in closed position.

The TF is an in-line centrifugal duct fan with high capacity and excellent reliability. The straight through radial fan is compact and very easy to install. It can cope with high pressure and long duct runs, whilst still operating at acceptable sound levels. The TF range of fans have casings manufactured from galvanized steel and are moisture resistant. They are approved for installation in humid or damp environments being rated IP44 when installed in a duct system. The fan speed can be controlled by voltage variation regulators. Several fans can be connected to the same controller providing the total rating of the controller is not exceeded. The motors are an external rotor type motor. They have maintenance free sealed ball bearings and are protected from over heating by thermo contacts.

Roof transition adapted for combi-hood HKOMR. The transition is produced with 50 mm fire or condensation insulation. At connection to circular duct two lower connections TGKOMR-NA are used. The roof transition is manufactured as standard in galvanised steel plate, but is available in stainless steel sheet 1.4301, stainless acid-resistant steel sheet 1.4404, or painted. Two angle brackets are supplied for adaptation to the relevant roof incline. Sizes and dimensions according to drawing and table, but is available in extended version which is specified separately. The duct connections are supplied with RJFP joints for guiding.

Intended for connection to roof hood and roof fan. Available with various types of insulation for condensation or fire protection. Two fixing profiles are supplied to suit the root pitch. The upper connection in sizes 100-315 suits roof hood HN, for example. The upper connection in sizes 400-1200 is supplied without flange and is made so that you can use the enclosed mating flange from roof hood HF for instance. TGR can as addition be provided with two through-connections for electric power and control voltage. TGR is manufactured as standard from galvanized steel sheet Z275, but is also available in stainless steel sheet 1.4301, stainless acid-resistant steel sheet 1.4404 or painted. The duct connection is supplied with RJFP joint for guiding.

Slide-on stub for installation in ducts of type SR. After the duct has been shortened/fitted, add sealant etc between the swaged seams on the slide-on stub, after which the slide-on stub is inserted into the duct. The two swaged seams guide and retain the slide-on stub. To finish off, the edge of the stub is swaged, both to remove the sharp edge of the transition and to fix the slide-on stub. UPP is circular roof hood intended for exhaust air for high airflows (1 – 40 m3/s). The air discharges vertically from the hood and it is especially suitable for industrial applications. The hood incorporates a butterfly damper that opens when the air flow and pressure is sufficient and closes when fan is not running. When closed, the butterfly damper prevent the ingress of snow and water. For rainwater the hood is free-draining downwards. If exhaust air-flow has a very high humidity, then we recommend the use of model UPPV. UPP is manufactured as standard from galvanized steel Z275, but is also available in stainless steel EN 1.4404 or painted in most common RAL colours. All dimensions Ø315 – 1600 mm are supplied with a flange connection as standard. They are also supplied with lifting lugs.

Roof hood VH is constructed as outdoor air inlet for both industrial and comfort ventilation, but can also be used as exhaust air hood. The hood is made of galvanized steel sheet, but can on order also be delivered in other materials like stainless steel, aluminium and powder painted sheet metal in different colours. It is provided with net and sleeve, which secures an effective protection against rain, falling leaves etc. The standard design is with a coupling connection, but the hood can on order be delivered with flange or connection as desired. VH can also be delivered in intermediate dimensions. Note: When used as an air inlet hood it is recommended that the velocity in the connection duct is kept below 5 m/s in order to aviod water to be dragged in.

The VHA exhaust hood gives the possibility for an architectally correct ending of air outlet on the roof. The exhaust hood is as standard delivered in galvanised design, but can also be delivered in black powder coating. The hood is equipped with an internal cone, which leads the rain water out over the duct sides. The air is thrown away with an upward jet. Hence pollution of the air around the hood and dirt on the roof surface around the hood. The exhaust is so effective that quite easily an air intake can be mounted close up, e.g. lamella hood VHL, which designwise suits VHA. The VHL lamella hood is developed specially to achieve an architectally correct ending of air intake and outlet on the roof. The lamella hood is as standard delivered in galvanised design, can also be delivered in black powder coating. In order to achieve a harmonic transition from duct to hood, the connection to the hood can be choosen either as a duct or as a roof transition (e.g. GISOL or GISOLP) with its dimensions corresponding to ØD, below the roof the duct may be reduced to Ød1 (see mounting proposal 1). The lamella hood can well also be mounted directly on a duct with the diameter Ød1 (see mounting proposal 2). When connecting to the roof through connection TGR, the special transition piece TGR-VHL must be used.
